Advance Glass Design specialises in the manufacture of insulated glazing units, tempered safety glass, decorative leaded, bevelled, sandblasted and processed glass. With over seventeen years experience in the glazing industry, the company produces high quality products to each customer’s specific requirements.

The company's glass works is able to drill, cut, edge polish, engrave straight and shaped profiles and bevel from 0-90 degrees. With glass thicknesses ranging from 4-25mm, Advance Glass Design can cater for requirements from interior designers through to high end building industry projects. Cold pour laminates are also available which offer safety, security, sound insulation and limitless aesthetic potential. A resin system allows for numerous combinations of glass types to be laminated, such as float, toughened, mirrored, patterned and wired glass.

Double Glazing

Sealed Units

Available with air gaps from 6-20mm, the units can incorporate metallic spacer bars in gold, silver and bronze. Georgian style units are produced with a pattern within the inside of the unit which can also incorporate a Georgian bar. Back-to-back Duplex spacer bar units give the illusion of a traditional sash window. The units are made with Clear Float 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm glass, Patterned 4 and 6mm glass, Tinted 4 and 6mm (bronze, grey, green and blue) glass and Pilkington K 4 and 6mm glass.

Decorative Top Lights

Working with clients, the design team offer bespoke, decorative sandblasts and cut glass top lights for windows and doors.

Painted Glass

Widely used for splash-backs and work surfaces in kitchens and bathrooms, painted glass is produced using toughened glass. Most RAL and Dulux colours are available and can incorporate a sparkle additive or a metallic pigment. Bespoke designs and sizes are available. Painted glass products have a life expectancy of around ten years.

Architectural Products

• Balustrades - Designed to specific requirements, stairwell balustrades can incorporate rounded corners, internal radiused corners or sandblasted, creating a highly individual look and style.
• Stair Treads - Advance Glass Design can produce bespoke stair treads for both homes and workplaces that incorporate a deep sandblast finished strip for a non-slip finish.
• Doors - A range of bevelled glass door panels are available for use with timber and uPVC doors for a unique and highly individual brilliant cut and sandblasted finish.
• Shop Fittings - Made to individual specification, the company offers a range of glass partitions, shelves and display areas for shop fitting.
• Room Dividers - A range of glass room dividers can be designed for workplaces and offer a degree of privacy and sound insulation whilst allowing for an open feel.
• Logos and Signs - With unique painting techniques and etching at different depths, glass signs provide a stunning and highly individual effect.

Domestic Products

• Kitchen Splashbacks and Worktops - Available in clear and coloured glass, incorporating any shape or size, the worktops can include drainage, tap and sink cut-outs and are generally manufactured in 19mm thick glass. Splashbacks are manufactured in 6mm thickness glass. Both products are available in a vast amount of RAL and Dulux colours and can incorporate sparkle and metallic additives.
• Bathrooms - A range of vanity tops, shower doors, splashbacks and shower walls can be produced to specific designs, shapes and colours.
• Vanity Units - Designed to give the illusion of granite or marble, glass vanity units are available in modern and subtle colours.
• Shelves and Furniture - Products are made to individual requirements and include table tops, TV units and wall shelving.
• Floor Tiles - These highly versatile floor tiles come in a range of colours and sizes for use in kitchens, bathrooms, dance floors, restaurants and commercial settings, for a truly individual look.
• Wall Panels - Used for lining bathroom and kitchen walls and units, room dividing and other applications these wall panels create a modern, clean look and are available in a variety of colours.
• Mirrors - From simple to highly elaborate and decorative designs, Advance Glass Design can produce mirrors for both the domestic or commercial market to the required size and style.
