Products:

Facing Bricks

Available to suit any building style, facing bricks range from wirecut, stock, handmade, tumbled to reclaimed, in a huge array of colours, shapes, sizes and textures. Most bricks are permanently in stock for immediate delivery.

  • Stock bricks are generally the preferred choice for general builders, slightly irregular shaped, but a cheaper alternative to handmade bricks and available in smooth or textured finishes.
  • Handmade bricks are produced on a bench in a mould, each brick has a distinctive creasing called a 'smile' and have their own characteristics and properties, dependent on the manufacturing process. Generally handmade bricks are used for prestigious building projects due to their higher cost.
  • Handmade tumbled bricks are bricks that have been handmade then distressed, giving the bricks a reclaimed look. They are rolled in a drum to distress the edges to create an individual, irregular, softer and rounder finish.
  • Wirecut bricks are suited to everyday applications and are the most cost effective brick available. Manufactured by extruding a column of clay which is then cut by wire. The finish is generally smooth, with the option of surface textures such as sand or face texturing in rusticated or drag-faced finishes.

Brick Slips and Brick Slip Systems

The demand for brick slip systems is continuously increasing. Used as a cost effective brick finish, without the weight, fitting times and labour required when installing traditional bricks. Brick slip systems can be installed by one person at a rate of around 10 square metres per day. Benefits include; fire and frost resistance, fast and easy to install, low maintenance, lightweight, suited to any construction and angled pistols face corners perfectly. Available in handmade, tumbled and wirecut finishes. Brick slip systems are available in two options, Brikloc and Easi-track.

  • The Brikloc system is a mechanical and mortar fix, widely used in commercial multi-storey developments. Suited for use with standard slips and any substrate, in temperatures ranging from -30 to +50 degrees. The Briklocs carry the slips weight, aligning bed joints and work as a brick tie by locking the mortar and brick to the panel.
  • The Easi-track system is weather resistant and thermally insulated for masonry, dense concrete, metal or timber frame structures. Suited to both internal and external use. Easi-track has a high fire resistance and is available in three thicknesses. The face of the panel has a vacuum formed ribbed profile, that when aligned forms tracks for the bricks, giving mechanical support to the slips.

Natural Stone

Natural Stone is used for both restoration and new build projects to maintain a high quality, traditional finish. Innovative production and manufacturing processes allows the natural stone to be easily handled and installed. It is available in various course heights and bed depths and several natural shades.

Cast Stone

Cast stone or reconstituted stone is a highly cost effective alternative to natural stone. There are three stone choices, traditional cast stone, 60% lighter glass reinforced concrete and 9% lighter GRP. The product range includes cills, decorative heads, pier caps, finials, string courses, plinths, ashar blocks, quoins, corbels, balustrading, columns and porticos. A range of natural colours are available.
