Manufactured in Germany by Xella, these lightweight, load bearing and partition walls are made from a mix of sand, lime and water and five times faster to install than traditional methods which reduces the need for intensive labour. It can be used up to eight levels high without the use of structural steel or concrete frames and has low shrinkage rates, high acoustic qualities and superior fire resistance. Silka is 100% recyclable and due to its lightweight qualities offers reduced transportation and environmental costs.
- Ytong VHP Aerated Concrete Panels
Aerated Concrete Panels are designed for use in non structural wall applications and situated vertically through two floors, horizontally between two columns or shear walls, from cellars up to roof level. The concrete panels have excellent energy saving insulation, six hours fire protection and noise reduction properties, are quick and easy to install, and come supplied with all installation equipment.
Suited for use as a non structural partition wall, these panels offer around six hours fire protection by keeping heat out and protecting flammable goods. The concrete panels are lightweight, yet extremely strong and durable, with excellent acoustic and insulating properties.
- Alltek Skim Coat Plaster
Ideal for use on concrete panels, block work walls, plasterboard, cement and lime plaster, steel, timber, old plaster, painted and wall papered surfaces and ceramic tiles. Used as an alternative to gypsum plaster, Alltek is rapidly applied by hand or spray, dries and is ready for painting within 24-48 hours and can be applied in various ways to achieve smooth, textured, leathered and patterned finishes.
- Verhelst Wide Slab Floors
This is a versatile precast 240mm concrete slab and can be used for most concrete flooring applications. The slabs are easy to handle and install, openings can be added almost anywhere, they can be fitted with built-in electrical facilities and eliminate the need for a false ceiling. The slabs are finished when on-site, with a layer of structural concrete and a covering of screed.
- Echo Hollow Core Concrete Floors
Renowned for their cost effective, installation time-saving benefits on residential, commercial and social building projects, Eco hollow core floors do not require experienced installers and no propping or plastering is required. Builders can work above and below the slabs just 24 hours after installation. The slabs are ideal for use in multi-storey developments such as, retail centres, offices, medical facilities, hotels and car parks.
These strong and durable, thermally insulated rafter panels are used in domestic homes to create roof space by eliminating the need for traditional rafters. Easily fitted in a day, a pair of semi-detached houses can be made weatherproof and structurally sound. Installation only requires purlins, wall plates and ridge boards, then cross battening and tiling to complete the roof. Unilin is suited to both pitched and flat roofs and resistant to rot, decay, fungus and insect and vermin attack. A range of ceiling finishes is available to suit both modern and traditional styles.
