Company Profile

Chameleon Collection was established in 1988 in response to market demand for individual, bespoke wall papers and fabrics. The company works with a wide range of clients, comprising private individuals and commercial clients such as those in the restaurant and hotel industries. The company’s experience enables the production of a wide range of designs to suit clients’ specific ideas. The designs used by the company are never discontinued, which guarantees continuity for long-term projects.

Designs

Traditional

A wide range of traditional designs is available, including the William, a classic William Morris style leaf design. The Ursula is also a leaf pattern and was commissioned for use in a horror film. The Narrow Stripe paper is available in green and cream, while the Julietta incorporates three colours, but can be printed in two on request. Also included in this range are the Edward, Elizabeth, Emile, Gothic, James and Margaret, among others.

Art Deco

These designs include Deco Fleur, Deco Merc, Suzzanne, Suzzie and Fleur. The designs are based on classic designs from this period.

Contemporary

This range includes Starburst, Retro, Eliptograph and Flamestitch on Ragged Ground, which was commissioned by a top London Hotel. Cartograph and Eratograph are also included in this range; these designs come from the retro graphics collection.

Paisley

The Ellen (single colour), Maurine (3 colours) and Dorothy (tear drop) designs make up this collection. Personal quotes can be requested via the company’s website.

Mansion House

This collection is vast and includes the Masif Moire, which is a printed watered silk, the French influenced Emily, Buckingham, which was traditionally used in stately homes and Blenheim, a large motif wall paper.

Bayley Arms

The Acanthus is a stylised leaf design, similar to the Damask, which was used as a back drop to London Fashion Week in 2008. The Cabbage Rose is a classic floral print, while Morrisey is based on the Arts and Crafts designs of William Morris.

Chameleon Collection prides itself on its competitive pricing and flexible approach; as few as six hand –made rolls of wall paper or 30m of fabric can be purchased to constitute an order. Traditional printing methods are used on a wide variety of fabrics, including cotton, poly cotton and silk. High quality paper is used for the traditional wallpapers. The company’s website offers a search facility to match the clients’ design ideas with existing products. An online virtual wall service is also offered, as well as a 24 hour sample service.
