The Container Kitchen Systems’ service doesn’t end with delivery of the units. We will provide a free training demonstration of the equipment in the temporary kitchens. If your chef has not used a computerised combination oven before then we can go through all the features and operations with him.
How much does it cost to hire a temporary kitchen?
• The cost of hiring is based on several factors, including: size and internal specification of unit(s); the minimum period the equipment is to be hired for; the delivery location of your site; whether you require damage waiver or prefer to provide your own insurance for the equipment whilst on hire; whether you require us to provide engineers on site to connect the equipment to services, etc.

CKS Temporary Kitchens spring into action during Kitchen Refurbishment
Spring is an ideal time to get kitchens ready for the summer rush, but the refurbishment of a commercial kitchen can be a very disruptive process. It’s a difficult decision, whether to keep the kitchen up and running or close it during the alterations. Closing means a loss of revenue and risks losing customer loyalty. Unsurprisingly most places opt to stay open for business. Container Kitchen Systems (CKS) can provide ready-to-go temporary kitchen solutions to minimise disruption, keep catering operations running smoothly and take the stress out of refurbishment.
CKS can supply different sizes and types of modular kitchens that can be tailored to meet specific, individual requirements. For example, the CKS MK 28/62 is a medium-sized production kitchen with sufficient space for up to four chefs to work in comfort. This 2.8m x 6.2m kitchen comes complete with a wide range of equipment, enabling production of up to 200 meals per session. The kitchen’s layout and equipment can be adapted to suit individual requirements.
CKS can even re-create the same type of catering operation as the one they are temporarily replacing, right down to the same equipment and layout. By having the temporary kitchen as much like the original as possible, it bridges the gap whilst the refurbishment is underway, keeping the kitchen running as usual.
