Demax Designs was founded in 1971 and has built a solid reputation for excellence in quality and bespoke staircases throughout the UK and internationally. The company provides a complete service from concept and design to manufacturing and installation and has its own fabrication shop, architectural foundry and joinery. Managing Director Barry Rowe is dedicated to providing a service which will meet any specification whether small or large applications, commercial or private, traditional or contemporary.

Design Service

For bespoke applications Demax offer a complete design service. A consultation process which covers conceptual design at 2D level through to a 3D CAD drawing considers both the clients requirements and the buildings parameters. Following conceptual agreement the staircase design moves through mechanical approval where building regulations and structural integrity are assessed. The CAD drawings are then used as a blueprint for manufacturing and installation.

Spiral Staircases

These can be manufactured for both commercial and domestic situations. There are a wide variety of designs and materials which can be used for these applications including iron, glass, wood and steel. Whether inside, outside, modern or traditional, Demax can produce a tailor made solution for your space requirements.

Feature Staircases

Where the application is completely bespoke, Demax can design a staircase solution which will be the centre piece to any entrance lobby or hallway. With over 30 years of expertise we can advise and recommend how best to create an awe-inspiring feature staircase. Through innovation of design and precision in manufacture and installation Demax have a proven track record for outstanding workmanship and inspiration.

Glass Staircases

With advances in modern technology and strengthening processes, glass staircases have become very popular in both private and commercial applications. Sleek in design and a contemporary statement in any setting, glass staircases can be installed with varying levels of content mixed with metal or wood support.

General Staircases

Alongside our tailor made and feature staircases, Demax also has a range of standard domestic and commercial staircases. These are available to suit all budgets and can also be tailored to give a bespoke edge.

Balustrades and balconies are often required for larger applications and Demax can manufacture and install complete solutions or simply part replacement or upgrades. With a history in the creation of wrought iron products, Demax also manufacture gates, railings and contract theme work.
