Diligence International supplies a range of uniquely designed fires. The company is a leading UK importer for the range of Focas Fires which are unique creations by the renowned designer Dominic Imbert. After meeting and working with Dominic Imbert, Peter Beresford-Stooke, decided to bring these innovatory fires to the UK market.

Based at Buckfastleigh in Devon, the company was established, by Peter, in 1994. The company provides a full service from the initial design and planning to delivery, installation and assisting with building regulations and controls. Interior designers, architects and individuals work alongside the company’s services to ensure projects run smoothly.

Products

Wall Mounted Fires

The company offer sixty designs of fireplace solutions of which there are 25 wall mounted fires. They can be positioned in virtually any part of a room, from side walls to corners. They are manufactured from a variety of materials including raw steel which reflects the artistic design of these unique fires.

Suspended Fires

The suspended range of fires has eleven current designs and which are representative of the original creations by Dominic Imbert. The iconic design Gyrofocas model was created in 1968. This was the first suspended 360 degree pivotal fire and represents a signature model for the rest of the range. This model is 1250mm in diameter and gives out 6 kw of heat.

In Built Fires

There are 30 In Built Fires in the range, with a variety of designs to choice from. Many of the designs form the centre piece of a room and materials such as mineral green bronze and rusted steels provide a contemporary look. Many of the fires are glass fronted with the largest being 1900mm long.

Double Fronted Fires

There are currently five designed in the double fronted fires range. These fires can be viewed from both sides. They can be tailor made so the fire surround matches the decor of the room.

Accessories

The company offers a range of accessories which include, a wall barbeque, with a range of tools, bellows made of wood and leather, log and tool holders and a contemporary table made of steel.

Service

Diligence International offers a full planning and design service. The company can provide advice on all aspects of the provision and installation of all fires. Fully qualified Hetas registered engineers are available to assist with installations and provide certificates of compliance. The company will also assist with Building control regulations, if required. The Focas fires are fully tested and carry CE approval, and have a ten year guarantee.
