Eclisse have become Europe's largest manufacturer of sliding doors. The reasons for this success are simple: the Eclisse system is the easiest to fit, the strongest of its type and can be used with any kind of UK standard door sizes both single and double sliding systems and bespoke sizes too.

HOW THEY WORK

The Eclisse sliding pocket doors form part of the stud wall and allow doors to slide effortlessly inside the walls. The frame is made from top quality metal materials and components to give a long, trouble free life and the patented extractable track system can be removed at any time in the future without breaking into the wall. On the other hand the sliding door systems do not undermine the final internal design. The Eclisse system uses an ingenious frame mounted, self-centering guide so there is no threshold to interrupt floor surfaces. Along with the metal frame finishing joinery kit is supplied, making the finished product into a beautiful and professionally finished sliding door. The jambs are made from a real wood tanganika walnut veneer that is unfinished and ready to accept a stain, paint or varnish.

GLASS SLIDING DOORS

If the Eclisse sliding door system gives extra space, the glass sliding doors create a much lighter and romier feel. Especially for en-suites, it is becoming clear a certain amount of light and shadow to show through from the en-suite to the bedroom is acceptable and desiderable.

The doors are made by Karis, a highly respected glass maker near Venice in Italy, in from 10mm tempered safety glass that fully complies with the European norms UNI7142 and UNI7697. Apart from our standard satin finish glass doors you can choose from a wide range of frosted patterns, colour inserts or hand painted by Venetian artists.

FIRE APPROVED SLIDING DOORS

Eclisse pioneered the full UK approval of a sliding pocket door system using UK size FD30 doors. Fully tested and approved by the Warrington test facility certificate number 148395, for use with any FD30 rated re door up to and including 926x2040 mm. The Eclisse system is supplied with combined jambs and architraves made from a very special high density/high performance hardwood – you need only supply the FD30 door and the standard intumescent strips.

An approved self-closing system that integrates completely with this system and is not visible from the outside is also available if required.
