Franklite have been a manufacturer and distributor of lighting for nearly 40 years based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire in purpose built premises. Franklite are known, both in the U.K. and abroad, for their quality of products and efficient, friendly service. By using only quality components in the construction of their lighting, and ensuring that all products are rigorously tested before leaving the factory, their excellent reputation has been earned and maintained.

Franklite have an experienced team based at Milton Keynes and around the country, including Ireland. Most of the sales and customer service staff have been involved with lighting for many years, some since the inception of the Company, and are truly dedicated to helping customers to find the correct style and level of illumination for any project, no matter how large or small.

Franklites reputation was originally built on quality genuine brass fittings, manufactured in Milton Keynes, many of which are still available in the range today with few modifications, thus proving the longevity of quality. Franklite has evolved into a company offering a diverse range of lighting for interior and exterior applications for domestic and contract usage.

All of the above, combined with the fact that Franklite keep approximately 95% of their range in stock for immediate delivery, means that you can specify with confidence knowing you will get full back-up from the Company and, when the lights arrive on site, they will be quality fittings.

The Franklite range is extensive and covers interior and exterior lighting requirements, both modern and traditional. The in-house design team are constantly striving to fulfil todays requirement for style, quality, and the ability to conserve energy. They are aware that lighting must be available in sizes to suit everything from the smallest modern apartment to the most impressive mansion house and even the highest impact hotel reception area.

Lighting technology is moving faster now than at any time in the past due, in the main, to the urgent need to conserve energy. Franklite already have a selection of fittings specifically for Part L1 approved low energy lighting which is suitable for new build properties where a certain number of light fittings must have dedicated energy saving lamps installed. They also offer energy saving lamps which look similar to traditional golfball and GLS lamps, and a beautiful clear candle lamp ideal for chandeliers and equivalent to a 40W output.

The next generation of lighting is moving towards LED’s to conserve energy and, once again, Franklite are working hard to offer the very latest technology without compromising on style or efficiency. In the new 2010 catalogue Franklite now offer RGB floodlights and recessed fittings which can be used internally or externally to wash walls, plants, or any feature areas with a single or changing colours.

Franklite are also often able to offer bespoke lighting solutions for specific projects and have a dedicated contract sales team to assist with any requirements.
