Multi Secure is part of the Leaderflush Shapland Group and manufactures residential, communal and security doorsets. Its primary market is the public sector and housing associations and it specialises in the manufacture of doors which resist sound, fire and break-ins. The company prides itself on its technical expertise and textile knowledge, as well as its specialist service throughout the UK. The company offers a ‘Supply and Fit’ service, where they can work directly with the client or alongside the main contractor.

Products

Blockade:

This product is available in hard wood, soft wood and steel and can have a painted or primed finish, according to the clients’ specifications. Blockade can be fitted with an Espagnolette lock or a Mul-T-Lock for security. It is a Police Preferred Specification product and has a 30 minute fire and smoke resistance. The company supports the ‘Decent Homes’ Initiative and this product is ‘Secured by Design’ accredited. A range of designs, frames and finishes are available.

Fortcullis:

This is a range of communal entrance doors suitable for any security system application and can be used in new build, refurbishment or replacement projects. Manufactured from composite timber, this range incorporates raised muntins applied to both sides of the glazing cut- outs, resulting in enhanced strength. Matching screens and fanlights are also available. A continuous hinge option and matching screens are also available. Laminated glass of 11.5mm thickness is used as standard and a range of styles is offered. The doors in this range are prepared for any access control system.

Yobstopper:

This range of doorsets incorporates steel bindings, steel hinges and angle cap guards. A steel box section frame is used, and a choice of steel mesh, exposed steel and anti–graffiti properties are offered. Multiple lock options, cap guards and air transfer grilles are available, as well as steel channel bindings and continuous steel hinges. This range can be bespoke manufactured, according to the clients’ needs and a range of glazing options is available. Standard glazing is offered at 11.5mm in thickness and the steel frame is fitted without a threshold. The doors are prepared to suit specific lock choices and other security systems.

Multi Secure has responded to a high demand for security doors in some London Boroughs by installing Blockade doors in many regeneration areas. As part of the Leaderflush Shapland Group, and commitment to the environment, Multi Secure has taken part in research to help reduce the carbon impact of manufacturing their products. The company has worked on such projects as Portobello Dock in London and Sheffield Museum.
