Penny Bricks and Timber is a Yorkshire-based company specialising in the manufacture of oak products from reclaimed timber. The company also supplies both new and reclaimed bricks. Penny Bricks and Timber prides itself on a customer-focused approach and the high standards of quality in all products supplied. Products

• Oak Trusses: both traditional pegging and modern methods of construction are combined to produce a quality product. The timber can be stained, aged or distressed to match existing oak features in a house.
• Floor boards: engineered floor boards comprise two layers of birch ply wood on the bottom and a kiln-dried European oak on top. The boards are tongue and grooved and are manufactured at the workshop in Wetherby, Yorkshire. Solid oak floor boards are available in widths from 95mm to 260mm and are also tongue and grooved.
• Oak Beams: green oak is air dried for up to 5 years to produce these beams. A variety of dimensions are available for fire place beams and different shapes can be achieved in during installation. Oak cubes are made to order, using solid oak. A wide variety of sizes are available.
• Internal Doors: Manufactured from character grade European oak, these doors incorporate either the 'Z' design or can be braced in with three horizontal sections. The doors are made to measure and are sanded and ready for finishing. Double sided doors are also made to measure from air dried oak. The finish is the same, front and back and its width is 55mm.
• Architrave and Lining: sets of two legs and one head are available and are available in four profiles.
• Bricks: new 'old looking' bricks and reclaimed bricks are offered as part of the Tanner range. New bricks are suited to restoration and new build projects. Stocks of reclaimed bricks vary from day to day, depending on supply. The company recommends viewing these bricks before purchase.
• RSJ Covers: these are made to order from oak. Any size can be accommodated and finishes can vary; oiled, stained or waxed.
• Oak furniture: A wide range of furniture is available, displaying the characteristics of oak. Other Products: a range of railway sleepers includes new oak and reclaimed pine. The company also specialises in ironmongery, including cast alloy, black iron and steel.
