Funky Blind company is a trading name of Tensile Shades Ltd. We offer our product to both commercial and domestic environments.

We are committed to provide the highest standards of quality, using british made products (as far as physically possible). All our products and installations are guaranteed.

Our flagship product is a new system that provides shading for interior applications.

The system is called FLEXIFORM- which is patent protected product.

It is a new way of shading interior spaces, using fabric formed into sail shapes.

The design of the system offers two unique features:

1) The blinds are fully machine washable

2) The blinds are Fire retardant.

• Flexiform- interior sail shades or blinds provide shade in any space, offering high resistance to UV light.

A special high tech fabric is manufactured into various shapes and mounted using stainless steel fixings. Maximum spans are 3 metres, but can be arranged in multiples to provide shade for any area required.

By mounting the fixings at various angles and heights the blinds form a sail like shape which look simple and stunning.

On a similar theme to the sail shapes TSL have a range of exterior systems.

We offer solution s for rain protection or simple exterior shading.

Our system includes heavy duty rain and wind proof canopies designed to be used for ten years or more. These tensile (under tension) canopies out perform many other types of shading such as Awnings, umbrellas and gazebos. In some cases they can be used in winds of up to 60 mph.

These systems are usually semi permanent and can be de-mounted and stored easily.

We also can provide shade only canopies mounted to existing structures in an outdoor scenario.

TSL are providers of many types of glass films to provide shatterproof glass, tints, UV protection etc.
