Total Hygiene is the UK’s leading and longest-established supplier of specialist ‘wash and dry’ toilets for elderly and disabled. The first company to develop and manufacture such a WC specifically for the market, it now has some 30,000 Clos-o-Mat units installed throughout the UK, in locations ranging from individual’s homes through shopping centres, hospitals, care homes and hotels to a tall ship!

Total Hygiene is unique in not only manufacturing the Clos-o-Mat, and supplying a comprehensive range of bathroom and toileting equipment for disabled, but in additionally providing a nationwide, in-house technical team that installs, commissions and services the products.

The core Clos-o-Mat unit looks like a conventional WC, but includes integral douche and drying, reducing or eliminating the user’s need for assistance in cleansing after toileting, yet it can still be used as a conventional toilet if required/preferred. The unit can be personalised to individual needs, with accessories ranging from simple lift-up support arms to douche length and paediatric supports.

Complimenting the Clos-o-Mat, Total Hygiene offers a range of solutions to further optimise accessibility, including height adjustable wash and dry toilets, height adjustable basins and height adjustable changing tables, and toilet lifts to hoists and grab rails.
