The Construction Centre at Grand Designs
The Construction Centre.co.uk is invited to speak at Grand Designs show in Birmingham
The Construction Centre today announced they are to speak at the Grand Designs show in Birmingham on 10th October 2008. Regarded as one of the UK’s leading online information resources for the building industry, The Construction Centre will be speaking at the “Don’t Move – Improve” seminar.
With the current housing market set to continue its decline, The Construction Centre will be offering advice to those who are looking to sell their homes and what they can do to encourage a sale and retain market value. For those who want to increase value to their home, Richard Simmons, Managing Director will be offering invaluable advice to improve standard domestic properties.
The Construction Centre has dominated the online market for building information throughout 2008 and has built a reputation for delivering relevant content to its users. Managing Director, Richard Simmons has over 30 years experience in the construction industry and was delighted to accept the invitation from Grand Designs.
“We have a great depth of knowledge and experience in promoting the Construction industry online and delivering information to the people with a specific purpose. Grand Designs has become a brand name which is synonymous with creativity and inspiration in building and for people looking to find the alternative door handle or solid glass wall covering, The Construction Centre is a great place to start.”
Despite the decline in house sales, The Construction Centre said that the self build and renovation market was still moving forward and where homeowners may have previously sold their property, the trend was leaning towards renovation and improvement.
The Construction Centre said that Richard Simmons would be covering aspects such as kerb appeal, sustainability and energy efficiency to improve or retain property value. The presentation would also address some of the things home owners could do to attract potential buyers and secure the sale of their home.
With the decline in the house building market, the lending stranglehold and transactions reducing, The Construction Centre said it was a good time for building companies to continue to promote their brand using cost effective measures such as online advertising. Angela Gallacher, Head of Press & Marketing for The Construction Centre commented “We are seeing more and more people move towards online advertising with the return on investment being so much more measurable. It is imperative that companies continue to advertise to help keep the sector buoyant and to attract new customers.”
The presentation will take place at the Grand Designs exhibition on Friday 10th October at 1pm in the seminar hall at the NEC.
