  • New finishing options for Urban Front doors

New finishing options for Urban Front doors

Urban Front is introducing Afzelia as an addition into the range of durable natural hardwoods in options of grey, teak and walnut stained oil. It looks a bit like a red version of mahogany to begin with, but deepens over time if left in its natural state.

The Afzelia in two of these finishes is now displayed in the Urban Front showroom on a new door design called the Wave.

Also new are Vintage Bronze and Aged Silver Bronze finishes. The long process that the finish takes helps the patina mature and is quite changeable creating a slightly different end result every time. A door with both finishes is now on display.

For more information about these doors please call or email the Urban Front office on 01494778787 and

  • Seven new stone blends for Sudstech range

Seven new stone blends for Sudstech range

Langford Direct can now offer seven new colours in the Sudstech resin bound surfacing system.

The Sudstech system uses a unique sub-base comprised of resin bound aggregate and recycled tyres. The slight flexibility offered by this sub-base allows fines that would usually facilitate weed growth to agitate through the surface ensuring the system will never clog. Unlike other resin bound products, water is able to freeze and thaw within the Sudstech system eliminating the risk of frost damage such as cracking and delamination.

With river-themed names such as Lea, Soar, Twiss, Tay, Ribble, Tweed and Dean, the aggregate colour selection covers everything from contemporary to classic.

Quality pipe cutting and cleaning tools now available from S1E

An exclusive new deal between Finnish manufacturers Renssi and Seweri and UK distributor Source One Environmental (S1E) sees their high-quality pipe cutting and cleaning tools available to the UK market for the first time.

Both manufacturers are owned by the same group, making similar tools, but Renssi’s tools are made of carbide while the Seweri range is manufactured from stainless steel. Both ranges include chain knockers, with cable and cable covers. The Renssi range also includes brushes, cutters and sandpaper holders, while the Seweri range includes circular chain knockers.

“These product ranges are of exceptional quality; handmade to the highest standard,” commented Glenn Cartledge, Managing Director of S1E. “They are essential kit for contractors, so they complement our current Pipe Doctor product range.”

All tools in these ranges are rotated by drill or other mechanical equipment, for swift and effective use. They are ideal for the preparation of pipelines prior to spot repair or lining, and the Renssi cutters can be used to quickly cut holes for lateral connections or to open up a closed pipeline.
