• Engineered Hardwood

  These 44mm thick mortice and tenon constructed doors feature a laminated core interior with thick face veneer for an incredibly strong and stable product. They come in a wide choice of designs including 2 panel, 4 panel and 6 panel and styles to suit period and contemporary homes. Engineered hardwood doors are available unglazed, single, double or triple glazed. Beautiful engineered oak and engineered cherry doors are among the options.

Fire Doors

Most timber doors are available as fire resistant doors and Doors of Distinction also supplies Isolate fire door sets. These 30 minute fire doors are strongly constructed with an engineered timber core and two GRP skins featuring distinctive grain definition. The 70mm mahogany frame is tested to BS EN 942. They come in seven styles – four of them glazed – and a range of colours. Glazed doors feature a single pane of 7mm clear fire-resistant Pyroglass which offers impact safety through a specially designed intumescent layer. Isolate doors have multi-point high security locking mechanisms and are Secured by Design accredited. The doorsets include a wooden 15mm Part M compliant low threshold, an overhead door closer and polyurethane adhesive 3mm self extinguishing edgeband.

Doorknobs and Handles

Door furniture including handles, knobs and hinges are offered in styles to suit all tastes. Materials available include antique or polished brass, black iron, pewter, polished or satin chrome and dual finishes such as satin nickel with gold plated edge.
