Groundtrax goes the distance for customer

Groundtrax Systems demonstrated how far it will go for its customers with a recent delivery to the Isle of Rum, Inner Hebrides.

Moorland Mesh on way to Rum

The delivery for Scottish Natural Heritage was literally a boat load of Moorland Mesh rolls.

It entailed two artic loads from the Groundtrax factory in Essex, with a change to smaller wagons due to low bridges en route to the port of Malaig. From there the rolls went onto a specially chartered boat and were sailed across very choppy waters to the Isle of Rum where they were off loaded before final delivery to site.

Groundtrax passed on thanks to Greig at Milligan Transport, Michael at Fergusons Transport, all the very helpful staff at Scottish Natural Heritage and the company’s own logistics expert Laura for achieving this feat.
