I have a burn running on two sides of my land. SEPA have requested that we build at a level of 1.57m. We are going to construct the dwelling wth ICF's. What are the best type of foundations?
Firstly, please accept my apologies for the delay in responding, but I had to consult others on this matter, as I have no experience with ICF's.
The general conclusion was that the answer would definitely be site specific and that you really needed to get a local building surveyor to visit the site and recommend a suitable solution. A list of local surveyors can be found under the Construction Professionals tab at the top of this page.
