How many wind turbines are required for generating 300Mw power?
There are many factors which will determine how many turbines you will need.
If you are a commercial developer with a large amount of land you may be eligible to install larger turbines which, depending on their size, can generate between 1-4 MW of power.
300MW of power is a significant amount and I would only recommend a commercial installation for this type of power generation.
Also it is perhaps more likely that this sort of level of power can be achieved offshore rather than onshore. Some examples of the number of turbines needed to supply 300MW of generation include: 166 Vestas 1.8 MW and 150 Gamesa 2 MW turbines.
