  • FAKRO is a partner of the exhibition Beksinski. Sculptures

    FAKRO and art have formed an unexpected yet enduring alliance, as demonstrated by their collaboration in the “FAKRO – a window open to art” campaign. Their latest venture involves a cultural project called the “Beksiński. Sculptures” exhibition.

    This exhibition showcases 14 captivating artworks from a series called “Heads,” which includes the monumental pieces Macbeth and Hamlet. It offers a fresh perspective on the artist’s work, presenting Zdzisław Beksiński as a sculptor. The exhibition is curated by Małgorzata and Marcin Gołębiewscy.

    The name Beksiński is primarily associated with mind-boggling imagery and an intriguing life story. The extensive media coverage and the astonishing nature of Beksiński’s paintings have the potential to astonish even those unfamiliar with art in their daily lives.

    The exhibition will be held at the Royal Gardens in Wawel from April 27 to October 1, 2023.

    The Safety Letterbox installs RENZbox at Carrefour

    The Calais branch of multinational retailer, Carrefour, were looking for a solution that was convenient and stress free for their shoppers. The Safety Letterbox Company offered a solution which allowed shoppers to collect their groceries in an efficient, time saving capacity.

    myRENZbox offers an incredible, smart, temperature controlled, click and collect solution, which was the perfect option for Carrefour. It enables shoppers to pick up their entire shopping from frozen to fresh, knowing it would securely be stored in temperature-controlled boxes for them to retrieve at a time that is convent for them.

    These temperature-controlled boxes come with three types of settings (ambient, refrigerated, and frozen), which was the perfect balance for Carrefour in anticipating the demand it would cause.

    After the installation of this futureproofed myRENZbox in Calais, it came to light the success of a click and collect solution in retail stores like Carrefour. There are now 14 myRENZbox temperature controlled, Click & Collect stations across France.

    GEZE - Accessibility and  Convenience Combined

    GEZE’s TS 5000 ECline overhead door closer with guide rail combines accessibility and convenience in one innovative all-round closer.

    GEZE, a leading manufacturer of door and window control systems has called the product the TS 5000 ECline, pronounced EASYLINE, to highlight the ease of opening the closer offers.

    Providing barrier-free, easy to open doors the TS 5000 ECline is suitable for right and left single action doors with a door leaf width of up to 1250mm. It also has integrated back check, hydraulic latching action, and the closing speed can be individually adjusted.

    In addition the closer offers flexibility in installation as it can be installed on the door leaf on the hinge side or on the transom on the opposite hinge side and all functions can be adjusted from the front of the closer. The L version of the closer enables it to be mounted on the push side of the door.

    It is part of the GEZE family of closers that have the same styling, perfect for when different closers are needed throughout a building, and it has the same fitting footprint as other GEZE closers allowing it to be fitted in place of other closers without having to re-drill the door.

    With a closing force of EN 3-5 with variable adjustment the TS 5000 ECline is suitable for fire and smoke protection doors.
