Addagrip bound for Grand Designs Live
Addagrip is excited to be exhibiting at Grand Designs Live next month and would love to see visitors to its stand B4, in the Build area. The exhibition – inspired by the Channel 4 television series presented by Kevin McCloud – is taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from 4 to 6 October. There will be more than 500 exhibitors across six different sections.
Terrabound is one of the products Addagrip will be highlighting at Grand Designs Live. Available in a select range of natural aggregates, Terrabound provides a seamless, porous, hard wearing, low maintenance decorative surface ideal for commercial projects, including landscaping schemes, housing developments, parks, car parks and access roads and driveways.
Addagrip will also be featuring Addabound at Grand Designs Live. Addabound resin bound surfacing has been developed to fulfil customer demand for products with a recycled element and includes a minimum of 25% recycled content of aggregate and filler. The new range of decorative porous surfacing incorporates Addagrip’s latest UV stable resin technology, offering increased renewable resin content, strength and improved surface flexibility.
Staff are looking forward to sharing the full product range, including Addaset resin bound, Addastone resin bonded and Addastone TP tree pit with visitors to Grand Designs Live. The past year has seen Addagrip working on some varied and exciting projects – from Abbotsford House in Scotland, former home of Sir Walter Scott to Penguins Rock, the revamped penguin pool at Edinburgh Zoo – which highlight the flexibility of its products.
Addagrip approved contractor Design-a-Drive was recently invited to quote for new driveways at several houses in a prestigious cul-de-sac in Sussex, to replace the existing tar and chip surfaces as the clients were frustrated by loose gravel finding its way into their houses and cars.
Orders were secured to install Addagrip’s Terrabound resin bound decorative surface in Rhine Gold at two properties in May 2013, which led to two further orders for Terrabound Rhine Gold and Chocolate Buff.
